We are seeking a Pressure Vessel Design Checker to join our client in Edmonton, a leading company in the gas and oil industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Verify detailed designs and analyses of pressure vessels to ensure adherence to ASME and API standards.
2. Examine technical specifications, drawings, and calculations.
3. Conduct structural integrity assessments and perform failure analyses on pressure vessels.
4. Evaluate feasibility studies and provide technical insights.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
2. Expertise in pressure vessel design and engineering with an understanding of ASME (VIII-1, I and IV, B31.1, B31.3, B31.5, and VIII-2) and API (510 and 570).
3. Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD (2D and 3D) and CADWorx.
4. Experience with stress analysis and finite element analysis (FEA) techniques.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
