THE JOB

This role would suit a well-rounded architect or architectural professional who is comfortable to work on all phases of a project from schematic design and design development through to high-level detailing of technical work and design of details. The ideal candidate will have an appreciation for great design work and will come from a background demonstrating this, even if they haven't been extensively involved in design. The role will have you giving input into construction documents, development permits, submittals and tender, construction administration, city liaison, project management and assisting junior staff. You will be involved in a variety of projects across different sectors, both small and large.

WHAT'S REQUIRED

The strong candidate will possess robust technical skills and be well versed in working with a variety of project work and you will be capable of working independently and responsible for project management and seeing projects through from schematic design, through to completion. Technical skills must include designing details, drawing details, producing full working drawing packages and construction documents and development permits. In addition to good design skills, you must have strong Revit skills. Ideally, you will be registered with the AAA or eligible to become registered and have between 5 to 15 years of combined industry experience. Technologists and designers will also be considered if they have a dynamic skill set.

Building and project performance are top priorities for you, and strong written and verbal communication skills will accompany your dedicated work ethic.
