Role and Facility Information

Fraser Health Authority is seeking a Dermatologist to join its team at Eagle Ridge Hospital (ERH) and Royal Columbian Hospital. The Dermatologist would be expected to provide consultative services for inpatients, as well as provide ongoing supervision, mentorship, and teaching of medical students and residents. ERH-RCH maintains strong collaboration with the other hospitals in the region and is affiliated with the University of British Columbia Medical School teaching program.

Facilities:

Eagle Ridge Hospital: A 168 bed hospital in Port Moody, British Columbia, serving the communities of Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Anmore, and Belcarra. The hospital offers medical, surgical, regional rehabilitation, cardiac and diabetes outpatient programs, as well as 24/7 emergency services with over 53,000 visits annually. The emergency department expansion and upgrades project is now complete, allowing for quality emergency care in spaces better designed to meet the growing needs of patients in the Tri-Cities.

Royal Columbian Hospital: A provincial referral hospital (stroke/cardiac/trauma/neurosurgery) located in New Westminster, BC, with 439 acute beds and is a University of British Columbia affiliated teaching hospital. It offers medical, surgical, advanced and interventional diagnostics and imaging, critical care, inpatient pediatrics, obstetrics, outpatient clinics, neonatology, cardiac surgery, neurosciences, with nearly 80,000 visits annually. The Royal Columbian Hospital redevelopment is a multi-year, multi-phase project to increase the hospital's capacity, beds, and services.
