In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

Maintenance Management
  • Diagnose and solve technical problems related to infrastructure, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
  • Ensure compliance of equipment and buildings with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Subcontractor And Supplier Management
  • Select, negotiate and manage contracts with external service providers for maintenance services, repairs and improvements.
  • Coordinate the work of subcontractors, ensuring that the work is carried out on time and on budget.
OHS Leadership
  • Ensure compliance with OHS standards and the prevention of risks associated with maintenance operations.
  • Raise awareness and train teams in OHS best practices.
  • Actively participate in OHS committee activities and risk reduction.
Budgetary And Administrative Management
  • Develop and manage the maintenance department budget, including repair, maintenance and investment costs.
  • Use computerized maintenance management systems to track work and plan activities.
Leadership And Team Management
  • Supervise and mentor staff under his/her responsibility.
  • Collaborate with internal and unionized teams to ensure a harmonious and efficient work climate.

With the following skills and qualities, you'll be successful in this role:
  • DEC in industrial maintenance or mechanical engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in maintenance management in the distribution sector or in a similar environment.
  • Experience in subcontractor management and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent negotiation, organization and planning skills.
  • Good command of computer systems and maintenance management tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage several projects simultaneously.
