What might a typical day look like?

As a department manager, you will have to:

• Perform various management activities within your department.
• Define objectives and clearly communicate expectations to your team while providing feedback for continuous improvement and coaching them to achieve results.
• Ensure the management of purchases, inventories, price lists, marketing, and salary productivity according to established standards in order to ensure business readiness.
• Apply and respect the budgets related to your department.
