Job Title: Dental Receptionist and Treatment Coordinator
Location: Downtown Vancouver
Position Type: Full-time (Part-time may be considered 2-4 days per week)
Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (No evenings or weekends)
Job summary: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our practice. The ideal candidate will excel in communication, scheduling, and administrative tasks while maintaining a five-star hospitality experience. This role requires strong organisational skills, a customer service mindset, and the ability to multitask efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
- Calling patients and answering incoming calls
- Following up with patients on treatment plans and appointments
- Contacting leads and managing patient inquiries
- Liaising with referring dental offices
- Coordinating and scheduling patient appointments
- Managing patient check-in and check-out processes
- Handling payments and processing insurance claims (pre-authorizations and claim submissions)
- Maintaining a clean and welcoming reception area
- Occasionally greeting patients
- Assisting with general administrative tasks as needed
- Supporting the dental team with various clerical duties
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist is preferred but not required
- Background in hospitality or customer service is highly valued
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in English
