Job description

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Tasks:

  1. Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
  2. Provide basic information to clients and the public
  3. Obtain and process information required to provide customer service
  4. Operate switchboard or telephone system
  5. Order office supplies
  6. Record and relay information
  7. Schedule and confirm appointments
  8. Send invoices
  9. Maintain work records and logs
  10. Receive and issue payments
  11. Perform clerical duties, such as filing and sorting and distributing mail
  12. Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  13. Arrange teleconferences
  14. Calculate billing charges
  15. Monitor mobile radio or telephone
  16. Provide directory assistance
  17. Relay service to persons with disabilities
  18. Provide customer service
  19. Perform basic bookkeeping tasks

Computer and Technology Knowledge:

  1. Word processing software
  2. Accounting software
  3. Electronic mail
  4. Spreadsheet
  5. MS Excel
  6. WordPerfect
