Scheduling Coordinator
Position Summary:
The dental receptionist is responsible for ensuring the patients are greeted into the office professionally and are made comfortable. This role involves building relationships with patients, understanding their needs, and ensuring they receive the utmost quality of care. The ideal candidate is sales-oriented, has excellent communication skills, and is passionate about helping patients achieve their oral health needs. This position is full-time with two evenings required per week. Daily training on sales is required.

Success Looks Like:
- Having patients properly checked in
- Ensuring patients are seated on time
- Updating patient information
- Ensuring patients are not only satisfied with their care but are also highly impressed, which leads to higher patient retention and referrals
- Participating in the daily sales training that is funded by the company
- Having an excellent understanding of the dental services our clinic offers
Objectives:
- Identify outstanding treatment
- Write 50-75 letters out per day
- Take patient photos
- Ensure the receptionist area is spotless at all times
- Make patients feel welcome
- Provide consistent follow-ups and ongoing communication to ensure patient satisfaction
- Promote services offered to patients over the phone and in person
- Understand metrics and how it impacts further career opportunity and promotion
- Develop expertise within the dental field to ensure explanations to patients are easy to understand
- Represent House Dental at fundraising events in the community and other events as needed
Competencies:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in client-facing industries
- Strong ability to meet and exceed daily targets
- Highly motivated, driven, and hardworking
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to sell treatment to patients and ensure the quality of care goes above and beyond patient expectations
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in a sales environment
