Dental Choice is seeking a highly motivated, passionate, confident, enthusiastic, and organized Dental Practice Manager to join our team

Location: Dental Choice (Calgary)

Job Type: Permanent Full Time
Career Level: Experienced Dental Administrator/Practice Manager & Completion of Dental Administrator Program/Certificate

Hours: Five days per week (two evenings and three day shifts)

As the Dental Practice Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our dental office, providing exceptional patient care, and managing all administrative aspects of the practice. We seek a candidate with a leadership style that is firm and goal-oriented, and yet motivates, trains, and engages others in an enthusiastic way.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Dental Administration role and/or Minimum 1 year in Dental Practice Management role
  • Proficient with all administrator duties including but not limited to office management, accounts receivable, scheduling patients, coordinating hygiene, submissions for predeterminations, scheduling staff, etc.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with experience in training and supervising staff members
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients, staff, and dental providers
  • Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining a high standard of accuracy in all aspects of office management
  • Exceptional customer service, patient-focused, positive attitude, takes initiative, leads by example, sense of urgency, goal-oriented, motivates team

Dental Practice Manager Job Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • All Dental Administrator Duties
  • Manage multiple priorities
  • Planning and implementing office systems, practices, and equipment procurement
  • Maintains office staff by recruiting, selecting, and onboarding employees
  • Lead monthly team meetings; monitoring, and appraising job results
  • Maintains office staff job results by coaching, counseling, and training employees
  • Provide annual performance reviews for all staff
  • Enforce and implement practice building and management strategies to ensure our offices are well run
  • Organizing office operations and procedures
  • Monitor and manage production capacity, collections, and bonus targets
