Tasks

1. Design dental devices
2. Fabricate and repair crowns, bridges or implants
3. Modify dental devices including full or partial dentures, orthodontic appliances, inlays, onlays, clasps and bands
4. Prepare plaster models and moulds
5. Cast gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases
6. Mould wax over dentures set-up
7. Finish metal framework of dentures
8. Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures
9. Make orthodontic bands from metal and alloys
10. Polish and buff dentures
11. Computer-aided design (CAD)
