Dental Hygienist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. You will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dentist during procedures. A strong emphasis on customer service and effective communication is essential in this role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in Dentrix or similar dental software.
• Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow in the dental office.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and dental assisting practices is advantageous.
• Experience working in orthodontics or pediatric dentistry is a plus.
• Bilingual candidates are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $32.14-$60.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 37.5 per week
