Dental hygienist position at SmileCrafters Dental

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about oral health, possess excellent clinical skills, and demonstrate a commitment to patient education and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing, fluoride application, impression taking, in-office Zoom! Whitening, and intraoral photos.
2. Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, including examining patients' teeth and gums for signs of disease or abnormalities.
3. Take x-rays as necessary for diagnostic purposes.
4. Apply fluoride varnish.
5. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for at-home care.
6. Educate patients on malocclusion and any other risk factors that may contribute to poor oral health.
7. Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information accurately and efficiently.
8. Collaborate with other members of the dental team to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and a positive patient experience.

Requirements:

1. Diploma in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
2. Valid CDHO license to practice dental hygiene.
3. CPR certification.
4. Strong clinical skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and engage patients effectively.
6. Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate patient records.

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
