Dental Hygienist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for patient care and a commitment to promoting oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality dental hygiene services, ensuring patient comfort, and educating patients on oral health best practices.

Duties

1. Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages.
2. Utilize Dentrix software for patient record management and appointment scheduling.
3. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
4. Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
5. Conduct periodontal assessments and provide appropriate treatments.
6. Collaborate with dentists to ensure optimal patient care, including assisting in orthodontic procedures when necessary.
7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety and infection control protocols.
8. Provide excellent customer service to enhance the patient experience.

Experience

1. Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred; however, recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
2. Familiarity with medical terminology and dental assisting practices is advantageous.
3. Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus.
4. Bilingual candidates are highly desirable to better serve our diverse patient base.
5. Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service in a dental office setting.
6. Knowledge of orthodontics is beneficial but not required.
