Birchwood Dental is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team.

Experience is preferred but willing to train.

Responsibilities

1. Helping with administrative tasks in the office such as scheduling
2. Preparing and taking X-rays of patients
3. Greeting patients upon arrival
4. Assisting in dental procedures
5. Sterilizing equipment and following proper hygienic protocol
6. Assisting the dentist with emergency dental work
7. Managing the inventory of dental equipment and supplies

Qualifications

1. Knowledge and understanding of good oral hygiene
2. Knowledge of various dental procedures and instruments
3. Ability to perform basic dental procedures such as X-rays and dental impressions
4. Customer service skills
5. Ability to perform office management tasks such as scheduling appointments and ordering supplies
6. Knowledge of dental technology
7. Excellent communication skills
8. Organizational skills
