Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  1. Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  2. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
  3. Take and develop dental radiographs.
  4. Maintain accurate patient records using Tracker dental software.
  5. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
  6. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow in the office.
  7. Support pediatric patients with a gentle approach, especially during their visits.

Qualifications

  1. Previous experience as a Certified Dental Assistant is mandatory.
  2. Familiarity with dental software system Tracker.
  3. Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
  4. Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus.
  5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining patient records and managing appointments.
  6. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
  7. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.

*NOTE - Only CERTIFIED Dental Assistants will be considered for the position. Chairside assistants will not be accepted.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
