Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will support our dentists in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  1. Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
  2. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all equipment is ready for use.
  3. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.
  4. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
  5. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
  6. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.
  7. Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  8. Perform administrative tasks such as managing inventory of dental supplies and maintaining cleanliness in the office.

Requirements

  1. Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role is preferred.
  2. Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
  3. Proficiency in using Tracker or similar dental software systems is advantageous.
  4. Understanding of Invisalign procedures is beneficial.
  5. Previous experience as a dental receptionist is a plus.
  6. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  8. Certification in Dental Assisting or relevant qualifications preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week

Additional pay:
