Dental Assistant

LightHouse Dental in Kingston, Ontario is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team of dental professionals.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our dental team in providing exceptional patient care. This includes preparing patients for treatment, assisting the dentist during procedures, taking X-rays, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform clinical chairside assisting duties, including knowledge of instrumentation
2. Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical and professional behavior
3. Prepare treatment room for each patient in accordance with infection control and practice protocols
4. Have a thorough understanding of practice health and safety requirements

Qualifications:

1. Must be registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant within the province
2. HARP certified
3. Previous dental assisting experience is preferred but recent grads are welcome
4. Possess strong written and communication skills
5. Have strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
6. Must be punctual and reliable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
