TITLE: Demand Planner

Summary
The Demand Planner will lead the development of the sales estimates through accurate SKUL level forecasts by channel in collaboration with Marketing and Sales. This individual will establish relationships with internal and external customers and can present the analytical findings with accuracy and confidence. The Demand Planner will also assist the Demand Planning Manager develop, maintain, and present the company’s S&OP process, inventory projects, and other projects. He/she has strong business knowledge, systems acumen (JD Edwards, E1 & Gains), and capable to influence various teams to drive the total Supply Chain.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Maintain forecast accuracy through analysis on historical data and cleanse from events impact.
  2. Manipulate the system to plan for demand changes outside of regular replenishment.
  3. Analyze customer-provided forecasts and POS data to calculate an accurate forecast.
  4. Generate reports to review fill rates, inventory position, and sales for analysis and management review.
  5. Work with Sales to establish a Sales Estimates / Re-forecasts / Plan.
  6. Lead and participate in the monthly S&OP meetings to align systematic forecast to the Sales Estimates / Re-forecasts / Plan.
  7. Manage projects (promos, new rollouts, buybacks, etc.) through collaborating with internal business units (Supply Planning, Sales, Marketing, etc).
  8. Works with internal partners to create, document, and implement business processes.
  9. Demonstrates initiative to identify improvement opportunities that impact operational, procedural, or financial areas.
  10. Analyzes the feasibility of and develops requirements for new systems and enhancements to existing systems; ensures the system design fits the needs of the users.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; focus in Business Administration and Finance preferred. 3-5 years’ working experience in supply chain and retail supply chain. 3-5 years’ experience working in project management. Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders across multiple business units and levels. Superior analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Strong working knowledge of MS Office Excel and Word. Experience with MRP systems. Experience in project management. Power BI experience preferred.
