DEMAND PLANNER – CONSUMER GOODS

MARKHAM, ON

Our client, a growing consumer goods company, is looking to add a Demand Planner to the team. This role will support all brands within the planning department.

Responsibilities

1. Manage inventory levels for all divisions and brands.
2. Analyze stock quantities to ensure inventory levels are appropriate.
3. Monitor purchases, sales, and projected ending inventory levels.
4. Assist with the selection of new styles, purchasing, and forecasting of product.
5. Coordinate with purchasing, production, and sales teams to forecast demand.
6. Analyze open orders and follow up on any overdue orders.
7. Provide reports and updates of the order management system.
8. Provide ongoing data validation of ERP system.

Requirements

1. 3+ years of consumer goods experience as a planner or in a purchasing/forecasting role.
2. Must have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
3. Strong time management skills, ability to work under pressure, and multitask.
4. Able to analyze and manipulate data.
5. Strong skills with Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.
6. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or SAP S4/Hana public cloud would be a strong asset.
7. Excellent language skills, both written and verbal.
8. Flexibility regarding hours of work; some overtime may be necessary at peak times.
9. Clean criminal background and strong professional references.
