Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic Demand and Supply Analyst that will work to consolidate and validate demand and supply plans within the Monthly Integrated Business Planning (Monthly IBP) framework. Primary objective of the Monthly IBP is to align on one number, gain alignment on milestones and identify demand and supply risks and opportunities. This individual will ensure commitment from all functions, build and maintain good communication and collaboration within Business Leaders, Sales, Product Management, Innovation, Finance and Supply Chain.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Demand data consolidation. Gather and analyze historical sales trends, seasonality, and demand drivers; execute statistical modelling and evaluate forecast results.
- IBP Monthly Forecast data rollups. Participate in the monthly Forecast Reviews with Sales Team members, providing analytical counsel and helping achieve consensus sales forecasts.
- Document forecasting assumptions and sales risks and opportunities.
- Support the preparation of the monthly IBP deck using cross functional input.
- Bottom-up Forecasts in units. Help develop forecasts at Sales Region / item level while capturing and analyzing key inputs from Generating Demand Events / Projects.
- Margin forecasts. Help prepare forecast at product family level by doing various analyses.
- Provide support for the IBP Supply Reviews by analyzing forecast breakdowns in units for manufacturing items and helping align product supply with demand to ensure product availability and meet customer service levels.
- Produce 12-rolling month supplier forecasts based on newly updated demand plan.
- Work and coordinate with Product Data Analyst to drive fast and appropriate actions to minimize the impact of both deviations from the Demand Plan in units and misalignments with supply/purchasing plan.
- Perform data crunching and analysis to provide accurate inventory turns and inventory days of supply.
- Help implement and monitor various forecast, supply, and inventory KPI’s, providing deep dive analysis of red and yellow performance metrics and facilitating resolution or action plans for key issues.
- Produce forecast reports at various levels of aggregation / create Database Models / automated KPI’s.
- Other day-to-day and transactional support where applicable.
- Participate and conduct continuous improvement projects to enhance IBP processes and priorities.
Skills and Minimum Experience Required
Essential:
- University degree in Supply Chain, Finance or a Business-related discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Financial Accounting (or in other similar planning roles).
- Results focused with a strong service orientation, and strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent business acumen and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
- Bilingual French and English: To serve clients and external service providers across Canada and USA
