Practice Focus:
Accenture is seeking an experienced and dynamic Healthcare Technology Delivery Lead/Solution Architect to join our team. This individual will take charge of overseeing the delivery of innovative healthcare technology solutions, driving transformation, and ensuring seamless integration within healthcare environments. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of healthcare systems, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to design and implement cutting-edge technology solutions that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

You Are:
An experienced Healthcare Technology Delivery Lead with proven solution design and technology architecture skills.

The Work:
Depending on the client engagement, the Delivery Lead will be responsible for leading an Accenture team, vendor team, and/or client in the following areas:

  1. Lead the delivery of healthcare technology projects from inception to completion, ensuring they align with client objectives and industry standards.
  2. Architect comprehensive solutions that address complex healthcare challenges, including, but not limited to electronic health records (EHR) and patient/staff/clinician portals, telemedicine, patient management systems, and interoperability.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders, including healthcare providers, IT teams, and regulatory bodies, to ensure successful project outcomes.
  4. Analyze client requirements, develop detailed project plans, and provide strategic recommendations for technology adoption and optimization.
  5. Oversee the integration of new technologies within existing healthcare systems, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
  6. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions on time and within scope.
  7. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges during project execution.
  8. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in healthcare technology and industry trends, applying this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
  9. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  10. Perform delivery team mobilization, identifying appropriate resources and bringing them on to the delivery.
  11. Be accountable for ensuring that the projects or programs adhere to Managed Delivery principles.
  12. Manage baseline scope and change control processes.
  13. Revalidate the estimates at key transition points in the development lifecycle using Accenture delivery methods.
  14. Perform the work in accordance with Accenture Delivery Methods and in line with our policies.
  15. Calculate (based on the baseline plan and estimates), report and act upon the standard Accenture metrics.
  16. Ensure adherence to Accenture policies and participate in Delivery QA reviews and resolve all critical actions to the agreed timelines.
  17. Transparency and Communications: Collaborate with the client lead to understand the contract and financial objectives of the overall engagement or client, and share this understanding with the delivery team.
  18. Cascade engagement-specific objectives through Performance Achievement in Workday and use these to drive performance evaluation across the delivery team.
  19. Understand the client expectations and participate in appropriate steering committee and status reviews with the client. Develop with the rest of the client team a shared set of objectives and expectations that enables successful partnership between the teams.

Basic Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or College diploma in related field.
  2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare technology delivery or solution architecture.
  3. Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale healthcare technology projects.
  4. In-depth knowledge of healthcare systems, including EHR, telehealth, and healthcare data integration.
  5. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in the healthcare industry (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH).
  6. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to design innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  8. Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
  9. Experience with cloud technologies, data analytics, and artificial intelligence in healthcare is highly desirable.
  10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  11. Proficiency in English and French is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint.
