We are seeking a passionate, dynamic CEO to join Community Living Tillsonburg, one committed to building strong partnerships, driving operational excellence, and shaping the future of developmental services.

About Community Living Tillsonburg :

Community Living Tillsonburg is a local, non-profit community organization that supports individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families, ensuring their full inclusion with the community. They offer comprehensive services including person-directed planning, accommodation services, family support, respite, employment and community participation programs and operate the Tillsonburg Children’s Centre. Governed by a volunteer board, they aim to provide community and person-centered support and envision a future of a community where everyone is included.

Your Key Responsibilities :

  1. Leadership & Governance: Partner with the Board, key community partners around shared ventures such as Tillsonburg Community Services Initiatives, the Livingston Centre and Tillsonburg Properties and Foundation providing comprehensive reports and insights.
  2. Organizational and Financial Management: Oversight for all operational activities including programs and services, childcare centre, and organizational-owned properties.
  3. Strategy Advancement: Translate the 2024-2028 Strategic Plan into actionable goals and ensure their successful execution.
  4. Stakeholder Relations, Advocacy, and Community Development: Foster partnerships and relationships with key community, municipal and government stakeholders advocating for the needs of individuals served and to build community capacity to respond to opportunities and challenges.

Your Purpose :

  • Lead an organization dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families.
  • Collaborate with the Board and key partners to shape our future direction.
  • Inspire and guide a dedicated team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with system and community partners.

Your Qualifications :

  • University degree (or equivalent) in leadership, administration management, developmental services, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of executive leadership experience in the non-profit sector, preferably within social or developmental services.
  • Proven experience in board governance, financial management, and human resources. In-depth knowledge of legislation relevant to the sector.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
