Delivery Driver Storeperson

This Role is primarily warehouse duties as a Storeperson and may require you to hop out on a truck from time to time – so a Truck license is essential!

When on the truck you’ll be getting in and out more often than not to visit our customers and deliver our exceptional service in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• To undertake all duties in a safe, responsible, and courteous manner.
• Plan, pick, and cross-check orders.
• Hand unload food products (including chilled and frozen products) to customers, this may include handling cash.
• Practice safe and correct manual handling.
• Operate a Truck and deliver products to customers as required by the branch.
• Ensure all invoices are signed and present paperwork correctly as per company procedures.

Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications

• HR truck licence.
• Forklift licence (advantageous).
• Must have refrigerated food and multi-drop experience.
• Understand OH&S and food safety program (HACCP) and in particular the 'cold chain' process.
• Ability to work overtime when required.
• Customer-focused and good at building interpersonal relationships.
• Highly motivated, flexible with a solid work ethic and positive attitude.
• Physically fit with the ability to load and unload truck (couple of tonnes a day) within safety guidelines.
