Fresh Start Foods has an opportunity for a Delivery Driver. The successful candidate will spend their time delivering products to our customers. May require some flexibility in working schedule.

Employment Type: Full Time (Must be available to work on weekends and holidays)
Start time: 5:30AM

Duties and Responsibilities

Driving Duties

• Deliver products to customers in a company vehicle.
• Know Greater Vancouver road.
• Provide exceptional service to build and maintain quality customer relationships.
• Perform product delivery verification at the customer location and maintain invoices.
• Follow all policies and procedures including health & safety regulations.
• Physically lifting, loading and stacking food service products of up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work quickly and maintain a high level of energy throughout the shift.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Perform other duties, as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Class 5 unrestricted driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract

• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to changes in priorities.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Experience driving a three or five-ton truck is preferred.

• Basic understanding of the cold chain process is preferred.

• Basic understanding of technology is an asset.

• Knowledge of the food industry is an asset.

• Familiarity with routes and the lower mainland is preferred.
