Job Title: Maintenance Worker
Location: Jasper, Alberta

Overview:

Maintenance personnel are responsible for ensuring that our rooms, infrastructure, and amenities are operating at maximum efficiency. You will be dealing with all manner of maintenance tasks ranging from painting/decorating through to plumbing and electrical.

Responsibilities:

1. Assisting with the ongoing maintenance of all hotel properties including guest rooms, pools, hot tubs, front and back offices, and exterior areas
2. Maintaining and storing equipment in a safe and orderly manner
3. Ability to work independently and efficiently
4. Painting, light carpentry, and repairs
5. Answering guest requests for repairs
6. Coordinating across departments to ensure smooth operation of the hotel
7. Completing job task lists daily
8. Other tasks as required

Work Conditions:

Permanent, full-time
In person
Shift work, holidays, and overtime
Ability to withstand climate conditions, if applicable
Valid Class 5 driver's license, if applicable
Stand, bend, kneel for long periods
Lift, push, pull 50lbs

Requirements:

1. Previous experience preferred
2. Valid work visa/permit, permanent residence status, or Canadian citizenship
3. Does not require sponsorship
4. Criminal Record Check
5. Driver’s Abstract & 3-years insurance history, if applicable
