The Position

We are seeking a dynamic Dealer Territory Manager to lead and grow our Dealer business in Northern and Central Alberta. Work with the Director of Sales and Marketing to create and execute an ongoing strategic plan and process to develop and manage your assigned territory driving growth and profitability. The preferred candidate will have a strong background in B2B account management. The Dealer Territory Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, cultivating relationships with key clients, and delivering revenue growth within the dealer network of the company.

This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a proven track record of driving sales growth through dealer channels.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth within the dealer channel.
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts including at the National Head Office level.
  • Coordinate with company executives to determine the best sales strategies and market priorities.
  • Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to network and build relationships.
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting and set performance goals accordingly.
  • Directly and indirectly coach a team of up to 8 Dealer Channel Representatives across Western Canada.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports.
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop promotional campaigns and marketing materials for the dealer channel.

Education

  • A Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce or a comparable level of industry experience will be taken into consideration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.

  • You are skilled at delivering our positive customer experience message both externally and internally to ensure proper alignment and results.
  • Experience leading a high-performance B2B sales team.
  • Focus on new and existing customers to drive business and increase revenue.
  • Energy, customer focus, and the ability to inspire Dealers to sell our products.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong work ethic, action-oriented, and desire to achieve excellence.
  • The ability to identify and analyze problems and execute appropriate solutions.
