About the Role:

We are looking for our first data scientist to lead our analytics and machine learning needs.

You’ll be a good match for the Data Scientist role if you're a star data scientist and are excited about transforming healthcare in Canada.

You Will:

• Own critical data systems that support multiple products/teams
• Develop, implement and enforce best practices for data infrastructure and automation
• Build full-cycle analytics experiments, reports, and dashboards using SQL, Python and BI tools
• Perform exploratory analysis to answer key business questions; form hypotheses to test; make data-driven recommendations
• Build models to predict key business metrics and patient/clinicare care outcomes

You Have:

• 3+ years of experience in data science or software engineering
• Hardcore work ethic
• Superhuman learning abilities
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with data warehouses (BigQuery, etc.) and pipeline/orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt, etc.)
• Knowledge of data science / ML libraries and MLOps best practices
