Data Scientist

Global Dimensions is a HUBZone, service disabled, veteran-owned small business based in Fredericksburg, VA. Global Dimensions is currently seeking a Data Scientist for a temporary position in Molesworth, England.

Requirements

1. TS/SCI Security Clearance
2. Strong proficiency in Python and experience with web scraping libraries (e.g., BeautifulSoup, Scrapy).
3. Experience with NLP libraries and tools (e.g., spaCy, NLTK, TextBlob).
4. Familiarity with machine learning and data classification techniques.
5. Experience with data extraction and processing.
6. Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
2. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating external data sources
3. Experience with automated summarization techniques.
4. Knowledge of regular expressions for pattern matching.
