Position Summary
The Data & Reporting Coordinator plays an important role in overseeing and coordinating the reporting processes within the department. This 12-month contract position involves collaborating closely with various departments to gather relevant information, prepare comprehensive reports, and ensure the accuracy of records.

A day in the life of a Data & Reporting Coordinator
You will be tasked with collecting, managing, and presenting data to facilitate departments in obtaining precise sales information. By delivering timely and accurate insights, the Reporting Coordinator is instrumental in supporting data-driven decision-making and enhancing overall organizational performance. Additionally, this role involves developing reporting tools and dashboards to improve data visualization and accessibility for stakeholders.

You will also:

  • Data Collection and Analysis: Gathering data from various sources, analyzing it, and ensuring its accuracy and relevance for reporting purposes.
  • Report Generation: Creating and distributing reports that provide insights into business performance, trends, and metrics. This involves using reporting tools and software, such as Power BI or Excel.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with different departments to understand their reporting needs and ensuring that the reports meet those requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to streamline reporting processes, enhance data quality, and improve the efficiency of report generation.
  • Training and Support: Providing guidance and support to team members or stakeholders on how to read reports and utilize data effectively in decision-making.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensuring that all reports adhere to organizational standards.

What will make you successful?

  • Bilingualism in English and French language skills are a requirement, as this position requires collaboration with stakeholders across the Canadian market.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in reporting, data analysis, or a related field within B2C and/or B2B environments is preferred.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools MS Office Excel and Power BI.
  • Certification in data analysis or reporting tools is an asset.
  • Proficiency in using a standardized programming language for managing and manipulating relational databases.
  • Experience with database management and data visualization techniques.
