Story Behind the Need: Assistance required on a digitization project. Organizing and scanning files from branches into Scotia’s internal resource library.
Business Line: HR Services Operations team in Canada ensures specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Typical Day in Role:
Ensure data accuracy and integrity of employee records and position management changes through established internal control mechanisms.
Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with ***’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Record, maintain and send employee paper files to third party vendor for storage facility.
Respond to administrative inquiries related to record management and vendor solutions.
Manage and maintain sensitive and confidential information, ensuring it is handled securely and in compliance with the organization's policies and procedures.
Seek opportunities to improve operational effectiveness and propose recommendations to leadership.
Candidate Requirements/Must-Have skills:
2-4 years experience with Data Entry.
Intermediate experience with Excel.
Prior administration experience.
Nice to Have:
Prior project coordinating exposure an asset.
Bilingual French/English an asset.
Soft Skills:
High attention to detail and ability to stay organized with high volume work load.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Education/Experience:
Post-secondary or relevant work experience.
