If you are looking for your next professional challenge, we have an opportunity for you! As a Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations and processes in place!
We are currently looking for a Security Shift Supervisor at a state of the art location in Barrie. This location requires a security supervisor who has a keen ability to be professional, customer service oriented and manage a team of staff. This role is very computer heavy in reporting and software applications in a busy hub and as such computer proficiency is key. The role involves patrolling and managing incidents onsite and exemplary report writing with attention to detail. When the Site supervisor is not on site the client will be relying on the shift supervisors to respond and react in a manner compliant with policy and to ensure any gaps are identified as per protocol and post orders. Staff management will be a focus and ability to interact on a professional level with key stakeholders is extremely important. Experience in a lead role is a requirement and a proven track record of ability to follow policy and handle pressure will be key factors in your ability to be chosen for this role. Attitude cannot be taught and a positive and engaging personality with proven ability to interact successfully with others will be paramount to your success.
This role has a payrate of $19.00 per hour and works on a rotational schedule of 2 weeks days and 2 weeks nights. Open flexibility is needed to work this schedule.

Plan, direct and ensure the smooth running of operations at the client's site by utilizing onsite computer software and programs.
Assist in staff management and staff development. Ability to identify when staff need assistance or further management interaction is required.
Ability to manage staff in a unionized environment.
Maintain protection systems for fire, theft and other disasters.
Ensure the availability of emergency equipment and complete audits of onsite equipment each shift to ensure compliance.
Patrol, write professional reports and show professional and pleasant attitude for clients, staff and visitors to the site.
