Are you ready to suit up?

To Qualify to be hired for this position, you MUST have lived in Canada for 10 years and can pass Secret Clearance Status with the Government.

We have unique openings for staff who enjoy flexibility in their schedule. This position will be primarily tasked with filling open shifts on a call-in basis, vacation coverage and special coverage requests at 3 of our secure facilities located in Barrie. When not filling in shifts in these facilities your schedule will vary with openings in the region allowing you to easily work a 40-hour week. You will be cross trained and a valuable member of the team. You must have flexible availability and understand the nature of this position being varied in its needs.

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour following training and successful approval of Secret Clearance certificate (costs covered by GardaWorld)

Shifts: on-call coverage, last minute requests and vacation coverage. 24/7 Open Availability

What does a Security Guard in Barrie do?

• Monitor multiple worldwide facilities on integrated security systems
• Conduct alarm investigation and response by way of a large network of CCTV cameras at multiple facilities
• Use provided technology to follow up on external threats to company property and assets
• Oversee access control measures are implemented and maintained at multiple high-security locations

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Barrie

• A valid security guard license and first aid card
• Available to work flexible hours
• Have a clear criminal background and be able to obtain secret clearance status (paid for by GardaWorld)
• Be eligible to work in Canada
• Have a high comfort level working on computers
• Have lived in Canada for the past 10 years and be able to pass Secret Clearance requirements
