ABOUT THIS ROLE:
Reporting to the Lead, HR Technology, is responsible for providing technical expertise in the design development, implementation and delivery of standardized Human Resources reports, key performance indicator visualizations and Power BI dashboards, working with cross functional teams to turn data into valuable business insights.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Develops and delivers training on visualization tools using Microsoft Power BI
- Engages with stakeholders to understand business needs, defines and identifies critical metrics and KPIs, and delivers information through analysis to support decisions.
- Provides technical expertise through needs analysis, reporting, design and development of standardized data models and reporting tools.
- Designs, plans, evaluates and reports on program performance indicators; uses reporting tools to monitor performance and adherence to Corporate and Regional standards, policies and service levels, as applicable; develops new reports and tools, as required.
- Identifies key issues and trends and recommends evidence-based course of action based on results of analysis, responds to inquiries and resolves concerns, as appropriate.
- Leads and oversees assigned project activities and processes, working with cross functional teams to gather data, stakeholder input and leading practices in the development and implementation of plans.
- Develops standards and documentation for metrics and responds to data collection initiatives.
- Supports the development and implementation of governance over data usage and information including privacy impacts, and data security.
- Provides input and prepares reports, briefing notes, presentations, statistics and analysis.
- Liaises with staff from other Branches and Departments in the Region, to disseminate and acquire information, as assigned.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Successful completion of a University Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, or approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum five (5) years' experience in data modeling and reporting, data analysis and visualization.
- Advanced skills in business intelligence tools.
- Intermediate skills in design and development of complex data models.
- Advanced Query Relational Databases skills.
- Ability to create dynamic dashboards and an ability to define analytics and reporting requirements, and solution design supporting processes.
- Demonstrated ability to present data and information.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
- Demonstrated ability in the Region’s corporate core competencies.
