Data Analyst

WOW 1 DAY PAINTING is looking for a Data Analyst in Vancouver or Toronto to join our growing team! Working cross-functionally with the Marketing, Technology, and Operations teams, you will support the team with various reporting needs.

We are looking for someone with strong reporting and analytical skills who can support decision-making by offering strong insights from new and existing data sources. Day in the Life

• Cross Functional Collaboration: Engage with all areas of the brand, including marketing, finance, sales center, and operations, to organize, analyze, and report on data across departments. Liaise with technology teams to help support business initiatives, adding clarity to technology requirements and communicating priority related to support requirements for data. Collaborate and coordinate data request processes to ensure requested audiences, segmentations, and exclusions are clearly defined and understood.
• Reporting: Design, develop, maintain, and optimize reports and dashboards. Create ad hoc reports measuring the performance of strategic initiatives, which may include projects within our digital roadmap, marketing campaigns, and customer journey funnels.
• Analysis: Provide fact-based, data-driven insights and analysis to formulate meaningful conclusions and recommendations. Identify trends in the data and proactively communicate them. Develop KPI measures to track achievement. Build, test, and run SQL queries to deliver data extracts for analysis needs. Build or edit data views in the data warehouse.
• Data Governance: Identify and support standardization of key performance indicators to measure and support new and existing business initiatives. Support standardization of goal tracking and input tools (Google Sheets) among business units. Partner with data stewards and data owners by monitoring and drawing attention to real or potential data quality issues. Partner with the data warehouse manager to ensure customer records in both marketing automation platforms and POS (Salesforce) are cleansed and that segmentation is intact.
• Technology: Tableau Online server, user and content management. Supporting data flows, identifying and resolving errors in daily updates for key sources. Salesforce report development (not administration). Explore data at the source (warehouse) to validate and inform data engineering requests.

What You Bring to the Table

• Proficiency in SQL
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI. Tableau certification preferred.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary is $53,000 to $66,000 (The actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience, and internal parity).
