The Opportunity
IMP Group is searching for a Cybersecurity Operations Analyst to join our IT department. Under the direction of the Director, Networks and Cybersecurity, the Cybersecurity Operations Analyst will be an integral part of a team responsible for information security.

What You Will Do
Assess security posture, identify gaps, and enhance infrastructure to minimize the impact of security-related events to protect business operations
Collaborate with cross functional teams on daily operations and implementation projects
Perform general cloud security activities in compliance with IMP Group’s IT Security Policy
Implement and monitor security baselines in a multi-tenant environment
Develop and maintain trusted advisor relationships with client stakeholders
On call for service outages

What You Need To Succeed
Post-secondary education in Information Technology or comparable experience
2 years of experience with knowledge of IT infrastructure and services in the following areas:
Office 365 security administration
Identity management - Active Directory, Entra ID, MFA, PAM
Third party integration experience
Strong time management skills to manage multiple activities and changing priorities
Knowledge and experience with NIST or other cybersecurity frameworks
Demonstrate professionalism through communication and overall conduct
Customer focused – Patient, approachable, and able to adapt
Continuous Improvement mindset
Industry certifications in cloud security are considered an asset
Eligibility for Canadian government security clearance
