What will your typical day look like?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the Cybersecurity Exceptions Process: Manage and oversee the cybersecurity exceptions process from start to finish, ensuring consistency and efficiency in handling exceptions across various teams and technologies.
  • ServiceNow Tool Management: Own the oversight and utilization of the ServiceNow tool for exception tracking, resolution, and reporting. Ensure proper configuration, use, and optimization of the tool.
  • Triage and Information Collection: Lead the triage process for incoming exceptions, collecting all necessary information to assess each exception and its impact. Work closely with requestors to ensure accurate and comprehensive data.
  • Risk Analysis: Analyze and assess potential risks associated with each exception. Present clear and concise risk assessments to stakeholders and help guide decision-making.
  • Collaboration with Requestors: Partner with internal teams and requestors to gather data, answer questions, and resolve issues in a timely manner. Provide updates on exception status and resolution progress.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Track, update, and report on key metrics and statistics related to exceptions. Develop reports and dashboards to communicate trends, patterns, and outcomes to leadership.
  • GRC Data Submission: Ensure that exception data is submitted to Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools as needed, maintaining accurate and timely records for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the exception management process. Recommend and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency, compliance, and overall risk management.

Required:

  • Prior experience working in Cybersecurity teams.
  • Strong understanding of risk analysis and cybersecurity mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and demonstrated ability to explain complex cybersecurity topics in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred:

  • Experience with GRC tools and processes.
  • Degree in information technology, cybersecurity, or equivalent.
  • Cybersecurity professional qualification such as CISSP or equivalent.

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program. Deloitte is fair and competitive when it comes to the salaries of our people.
