What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

1. Respond to and manage cybersecurity incidents, including containment, eradication, and recovery
2. Analyze security events using logs, alerts, and monitoring tools to identify anomalies and suspicious activities
3. Utilize forensic analysis tools to investigate compromised systems
4. Maintain and create incident response policies, playbooks, and procedures
5. Conduct post-incident analysis to improve security measures and prevent future incidents

What is Required (Qualifications):

1. Hands-on experience in incident response and managing cybersecurity incidents
2. Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanning tools
3. In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS)
4. Relevant certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, or GIAC certifications
5. Strong understanding of the incident response lifecycle, including identification and recovery processes
