Cybersecurity Account Manager (Remote - Canada-based)

About Our Client:

We are currently partnered with a leading cybersecurity consulting firm that specializes in a wide range of services, including penetration testing, security operations center (SOC) solutions, blue team, and purple team engagements. With an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality cybersecurity solutions to clients, our client is expanding their sales team to drive further business growth.

We are looking for an experienced Commission-Only Sales Representative to help our client expand their client base within the cybersecurity space.

Role Overview:

As a Commission-Only Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by leveraging your existing network within the cybersecurity industry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has proven success in winning new business specifically in offensive security and penetration testing. This company offers bespoke services in penetration testing and is looking for someone who can leverage existing relationships in this space from day one. They also offer the opportunity to sell blue team services and network solutions, but their predominant focus is offering red team services to their customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Proactively prospect and generate new business opportunities within the cybersecurity market.
  2. Leverage your existing network and relationships to drive sales and grow the customer base.
  3. Effectively communicate the value of our client’s cybersecurity services, including penetration testing, SOC, and threat intelligence.
  4. Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
  5. Achieve and exceed sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  6. Collaborate with the client’s technical team to ensure smooth service delivery and client onboarding.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven sales experience within the cybersecurity industry, particularly in services like penetration testing, blue team, SOC, or purple team engagements.
  2. Strong understanding of network security and cybersecurity technologies.
  3. Established and well-maintained network of industry contacts to leverage for immediate sales opportunities.
  4. Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to independently manage your sales pipeline.
  5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  6. Ability to work remotely and manage your time effectively.
