About Emerging Transportation Platform (ETP) Managed Services

Siemens’ Emerging Transportation Platform (ETP) is an incubated start-up within Smart Infrastructure CTO Office and is building the next level of managed services to support logistics, fleet companies and bus operators as they transition and manage their battery electric fleet operations.

ETP offers a range of solutions from pure managed services on existing charging infrastructure & fleets to charging as a service, taking complete ownership and control of the deployment and operation of a customer’s charging infrastructure. This includes scheduling of the vehicles, the cloud platform, and the utility meter – in order to provide the highest availability and resilience in the market. Our objective is to accelerate the adoption of electric-powered fleets by optimizing the delivery of power and making refueling seamless and efficient. By offering additional services such as energy management and specific fleet services, we are working to support customer transition with the lowest cost of electric fueling possible.
