What you will do

We are seeking an experienced Customs & Trade Compliance Senior Analyst who represents the core values and traits of Kenvue. The Customs Compliance Sr. Analyst is responsible to support the execution of all customs related transactions and adherence to trade compliance regulations governed by Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), and other regulatory agencies in North America. Additionally, they will be accountable for formulating strategies, implementing processes, improving performance, and reporting to support Kenvue’s Global Trade Compliance Initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Kenvue trade operations team in the day-to-day management of North America import customs compliance related issues to ensure timely entry and customs release of all inbound shipments.
  • Support adherence to customs and documentation requirements with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and other governmental regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with logistics departments and global trade compliance teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Partner with EM’s, IM’s, Brokers and Forwarders to ensure proper and timely filings and through understanding of requirements.
  • Continually identify and implement trade compliance process improvement opportunities and strategies.
  • Maintain strong daily communication and build relationships with customs brokers.
  • Timely reconciliation, validation, and reporting of import clearance delays.
  • Management of Daily Reporting of Entry Status of Live Shipments.
  • Address Requests for Information from Customs Brokers to Support Timely Clearance.
  • Assist with harmonized tariff classification (HTS) and FDA Codes for all products.
  • Support Post Entry Corrections & Data Gathering for Audits.
  • Extensive knowledge of Free Trade Agreements.
  • Identify evolving trade compliance issues and initiatives to analyze for potential impact to the business.

What we are looking for

Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience in import logistics in a corporate environment or customs brokerage firm. CTCS or CBL a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in international trade, export management, logistics, or transport planning.
  • Comprehensive understanding of U.S. & CA import customs, trade compliance, and FDA regulations.
  • Working knowledge of Harmonized Tariff Classification (HTS), Schedule B, U.S. & CA customs regulations, entry documentation, in-bond cross-border shipments, and Incoterms. Familiarity with CBP systems, including ACE, is essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while working to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to present in front of large groups and key stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and cross-culturally between departments, external providers, and remote teams.
  • Excellent organization skills (planning, scheduling) with proven data analytics and visualization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Office, Data Analytics, and Power BI is essential.
