Position Summary:

The Customer Supply Chain Analyst collaborates and aligns communication between Sales, Supply Chain and Customers. Analyzes key supply chain metrics to optimize the performance of corporate service level targets while pro-actively managing customer flow of goods to mitigate inventory risk. Enables key sales performance metrics and identifies areas of continuous improvement by working with cross functional customer teams. Partners with customers to jointly develop best practice supply chain solutions aligned to improve internal and external supply chain processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Enable the execution of brand and sales plans with the customer replenishment and category teams by collaborating on site 3-4 times weekly.
  • Leverage customer sales and forecast data to create insights to drive replenishment.
  • Collaborates with Sales and Customers to map product flow and effectively forecast demand.
  • Aligns sales, brand, and supply chain managers to mitigate risks around undesired long/short inventory positions by pro-actively managing customer and sales inventory commitments.
  • Works collaboratively with functional leaders (Logistics, Demand Planning, Customer Service, Supply Planning) to execute supply chain improvements.
  • Investigates reported issues affecting Supply Chain.
  • Ensures business processes are developed, documented, implemented, utilized and updated.
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with senior supply chain leaders within the customer's organization.
  • Through competitive and best practice analysis, strategize and evaluate possible integrations of new industry tools and technology.
  • Keep abreast of and appropriately leverage best practices used in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry.
  • Facilitate effective meetings and email strings that drive understanding, alignment and informed decision making.
  • Support Canadian Order Management Team members in providing well informed guidance and training related to best practices.

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

  • Degree preferred or 2-3 years related business working experience.
  • Understanding of Supply Chain concepts.
  • Strategic thinker who quickly understands the issues and identifies opportunities.
  • Strong problem-solver.
  • Passion for taking initiative & ownership and working independently.
  • Strong negotiation, collaboration and people partnering skills.
  • Ability to verify, analyze and summarize data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications – Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work within a matrix environment with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • SAP experience is an asset.
  • French language skills is an asset.
