Position Summary
We are looking for a Customer Service Summer Student based at our Nestlé Brampton Location to join our Customer Service Operations teams from May to August 2025. This role will be responsible for being front line for our Nestlé Canada customers, building valuable relationships and continuing to earn their respect and trust by delivering best-in-class service.

A day in the life of a Customer Service Summer Student
A Customer Service Summer Student builds relationships with customers who either have a current Nestlé Ice Cream account or brings new accounts on board. They collaborate cross-functionally with other departments; namely distribution, finance, route planning, and logistic operations while managing business relations and building trusting relationships with Nestlé’s customers.

You will be working in one of the following areas:

  • Customer Service: The front line for our customers, learning how to build valuable relationships and continuing to earn their respect and trust by delivering best-in-class service.
  • Customer Solutions: Be responsible for maintaining the Customer database and for managing the end-to-end customer set-up including ‘selling in’ the benefits of the Nestlé Ice Cream program and qualifying a prospective customer for an Ice Cream freezer.

What will make you successful?
As the successful candidate, you are highly organized, assertive and a self-starter who has strong people skills with exceptional verbal communication skills. You are customer service driven, can inspire people around you and have a passion for our brands. You will also be:

  • Currently enrolled in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year undergraduate program in a business-related discipline.
  • A result and detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills.
  • A pro-active thinker who can generate solutions to meet internal and external requirements.
  • Superior in telephone manner with demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Able to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally with other departments.
  • A skilled Problem Solver, to be able to manage missing shipments, accounting discrepancies.
  • Comfortable working in a demanding, fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
  • Strong in computer proficiency (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Bilingualism in English and French language skills are a requirement, as this position requires collaboration with stakeholders across the Canadian market and/or worldwide.
