Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative for Global, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional service delivery to our clients. You will be responsible for handling inbound calls from customers, addressing their inquiries, and providing assistance. Fluency in both English and French is required for effective communication with our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding pick-ups, deliveries, PODs, and general shipments
  • Proactively communicate potential service delays to customers and all stakeholders
  • Work with brokers and logistics companies to fill capacity when necessary
  • Prepare and regularly update customer-specific reports via email or websites
  • Collaborate with team managers and planners to provide a high level of satisfaction for customers while pursuing efficiencies
  • Inform customers of other services provided and upsell when appropriate
  • Anticipate customer needs and facilitate resolution to issues

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Extremely detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to handle multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of the transportation business is an asset
