Customer Service Representative

We are currently seeking a RIBO Licensed Customer Service Representative in our Personal Lines department. In this role you will manage a book of business and build long-lasting and strong client relationships. Additionally, you will be servicing accounts by processing policy changes and providing claims counsel and advice to ensure successful client retention.

What will you do?

1. Provide timely and professional advice to clients for renewal reviews, claims, billing etc.
2. Process all policy changes/requests to ensure accurate and timely responses
3. Underwrite all renewals thoroughly – responsible for retention
4. Manage a client book of business
5. Review client’s overall insurance needs and refer to other departments as appropriate
6. Process month end reports

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:

1. Minimum 2-3 years of Personal Insurance experience
2. Valid RIBO license
3. Understanding of company underwriting and guidelines
4. Strong knowledge of all rules and regulations for all insurers
5. Strong communication, presentation, and relationship skills
6. Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively
7. Strong accuracy and attention to detail
8. High level of computer skills, knowledge and previous experience working with Applied Systems (EPIC) and Compu-quote is an asset
