Our fantastic client is looking to bring on a Customer Service Rep / Receptionist for their long-standing, family-run, general contracting business located near Fernie, BC.

This opportunity is open to those seeking to launch their career in administration; no prior office experience is needed! All that is required is an enthusiastic individual who is eager to learn and develop their clerical skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing email, including incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Ordering and managing inventory of office supplies
  • Taking calls from clients/prospects providing them with information and offering superb customer service
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the office space
  • Additional duties as assigned

Education:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Qualifications:

  • Successfully complete a criminal background check
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is required
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, etc.)

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience is required

Skills:

  • Confident and positive personality, takes pride in getting the job done
  • Eager to learn and willing to take on additional tasks as needed
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Problem solver with the ability to make informed decisions
  • Trustworthy and loyal

Base Salary: $50,000 – 60,000 per year

Work Hours:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday
  • 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Remote Work:

  • This position is not remote and requires to be on-site.

Additional Notes:

  • This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
