Customer Service Clerk

The Trent Hills Chamber of Commerce, located in CAMPBELLFORD, ON, is seeking a PART TIME, Permanent CUSTOMER SERVICE CLERK for their ServiceOntario office in CAMPBELLFORD, ON.

The Trent Hills Chamber of Commerce has an opening in the ServiceOntario office for a permanent part-time Customer Service Clerk, starting as soon as possible.

We are seeking a candidate who is not only trainable and eager to learn but also consistently dependable. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong capacity to absorb and apply new information effectively and adhere to established processes and guidelines. Dependability in attendance and performance is crucial, as it ensures a high level of service continuity and reliability.

Job Duties:

1. Providing high quality in-person front counter services, accessing information and processing transactions related to driver licensing, vehicle registrations, health cards and other identification.
2. Receiving payments, maintaining records, issuing receipts, completing reports, stock inventory and general office duties.

Skills/Qualifications:

1. Minimum – Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma
2. Minimum – 3 years of Customer Service experience related to the duties and skills required for this position.
3. Efficient computer skills, including high speed of data entry.
4. High level of accuracy.
5. Excellent oral communication.
6. Effective interpersonal skills.
7. Problem solving, organization and time management skills.

Additional Information:

Compensation: Employment and compensation is provided by the Chamber, as a ServiceOntario Private Issuer Office. Starting hourly rate is $22.50 to $23.50.

Job type: Permanent – Part Time

Schedule: This is a workshare position requiring teamwork, flexibility and reliability. One week on, one week off, includes ½ day shift every other Saturday.
