Customer Development Coordinator - Canada

We are seeking a dynamic Customer Development Coordinator (CDC) who will be responsible for administrative activities related to assigned clients. The CDC works closely with Business Managers, Account contacts and other support personnel. The CDC’s main responsibilities include maintenance of accurate customer plans, managing price files including list and deal pricing, and promotion forms management; s/he assists with performing administrative activities, and facilitates problem resolution by maintaining communication and serving as a liaison to Business Managers, customer service personnel, and other support staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative: supports and resolves administrative activities by maintaining communication flow and serving as a liaison to Business Managers.
  • Client and Customer Interaction: understanding and communication of policies and procedures.
  • Collections: assists Business Development Managers with repayments and receivables.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years applicable work experience preferably in consumer packaged goods
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly computer literate
  • Mathematical and analytical skills needed

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Promotions Forms Management: maintains an efficient forms management process through consistent application and training.
  • Develops accurate and timely promotional materials by inputting client information in order to create a promotional calendar.
  • Maintains promotional materials through tracking vehicles (i.e. spreadsheets, sample inventories, quotes, and bonus tracking).
  • Ensures accurate and timely communication of promotions by maintaining updated distribution lists.
  • Working in customer financial software systems for forecasting and promotional input.
  • Manages claims, deductions, and reconciliation processes by meeting client and customer expectations through maintaining accurate records.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

Education Level: (Required):High School diploma or equivalent

1-3 years applicable work experience preferably in consumer packaged goods

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while serving as a liaison to department heads, managers, associates, Clients, and Customers.
  • Ability to exchange information clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly computer literate with a proficiency in Computer Software to include: MS Windows, Spreadsheet (Excel), Word-processing (Word), and advanced presentation application software (PowerPoint). SAP, Siebel, Adesso, Retail Link.
  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks with minimum supervision.
  • Must have strong organizational skills.
  • Mathematical and analytical skills needed.

Physical Demands

Never (0% of shift): Crawl and/or climb, kneel, push, pull work on unprotected heights, operate mechanical machinery, be exposed to marked changes in temperature and humidity, be exposed to harmful fumes and/or other pollutants, and use feet and/or legs for repetitive motion.

Occasionally (up to 33% of time): Stand, walk, bend and/or stoop, use hands and/or arms for simple grasping and lift and/or carry up to ten pounds (sedentary level).

Continuously (66-100% of shift): Sit and use hands and/or arms for repetitive motion.
