Responsibilities & Qualifications
This is a route-based service-oriented position requiring the employee to establish, maintain and build strong customer relationships through responsive and creative sales and service strategies. Responsibilities include growing existing customer business through sales and retention programs, providing prompt and effective solutions to customer needs, maximizing route revenue through improved time management and upgraded product mix, and being ImageFIRST’s “face” to our customers and potential customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support: Promote our values and the ImageFIRST way to build the company by positively impacting the lives of our associates, customers and community.
- Customer Relationships: Handle all administrative aspects of sales, identify and resolve customer concerns, ensure customer satisfaction with company products and services, develop positive relationships with principal customer contacts, maintain an enthusiastic and professional attitude, and maximize customer contract term.
- Route: Manage route to maximize efficiency, productivity and revenue; operate company equipment safely and responsibly; comply with applicable rules and regulations relating to safety and operation of commercial motor vehicles.
- Sales: Increase account revenue by selling additional products and services, successfully complete sales programs, develop and implement strategies to identify new business opportunities, and meet or exceed sales objectives.
- Product Management: Manage load outs, inventories, quality-stains/damage, and tape changes.
- Product Knowledge: Understand pricing, codes, colors, sizing, changes/quantities, availability, and product application.
- Load Truck: Organize load outs, prepare invoices, check rails, perform count-by-man, and maintain linen control sheets and route books.
- Unload Truck: Check-in, empty soil carts, and weigh carts.
- Account Appearance: Maintain organization of rails, hanger racks, plastic, wet bags, posters, and repair bags.
- Truck Maintenance: Communicate repairs, perform preventive maintenance, and report accidents in a timely manner.
- Paperwork: Prepare work orders, ensure invoice accuracy, manage credits, and fulfill collection requirements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience within sales or a route sales role.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds on a frequent basis.
- Ability to drive a commercial motor vehicle for up to 10 hours daily.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License and Excellent Driving Record.
- Sense of direction and knowledge of the area.
