Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – Untoldcine

About Us : Untoldcine is more than just a streaming platform—we are a movement dedicated to amplifying the voices of independent filmmakers and diverse storytellers. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our tech strategy and development.

Who We’re Looking For : We need a hands-on leader with startup experience, a passion for innovation, and expertise in building scalable platforms. You should be comfortable navigating the challenges of an early-stage company and driving the technology roadmap for growth.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute the overall technology strategy for Untoldcine.
• Oversee and optimize the platform's architecture, ensuring scalability and security.
• Lead front-end and back-end development efforts, collaborating with the team to enhance user experience.
• Build and manage a development team as we scale.
• Work closely with the CEO and other stakeholders to align tech decisions with business goals.

Requirements :

• Proven experience in a startup environment (ideally in the streaming, entertainment, or SaaS industries).
• Strong expertise in MongoDB (database management, performance optimization).
• Deep knowledge of React for front-end development.
• Full-stack development skills with experience integrating APIs, cloud services, and scalable architectures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and wear multiple hats.
• Must be okay with equity-based compensation (no salary initially).
• A passion for independent filmmaking and the creator economy is a big plus!
