Posting Summary
Position Summary: An entry-level course that investigates the creative use of technology. It explores how computer hardware, software, machinery, gadgets and devices, and networks (including social networks) are used in the production of works of visual art, music, theatre, film, and new media; and how creativity shapes new technologies.
The successful candidate must have completed or be in the process of completing an MFA, MA, PhD with a focus in Creative Technologies and/or equivalency. Evidence of experience teaching creative technologies, including hardware and software relevant to the class as it has been taught since 2023, is necessary. Experience managing classroom and online technologies used by UofR and experience teaching at the university level is necessary.
